Abstract

The paper presents the medieval numismatic material discovered during excavations at the Bozhenishki Urvich fortress in the 1970s and 1980s. More than 1300 coins from the 14th century were unearthed during these excavations. The medieval coins from this site were partly published by the researchers of the fortress several decades ago, but without detailed photographic material accompanying them, as well as an in-depth overview of the coin types and their chronology.
