Abstract

The aim of this publication is to introduce into scientific circulation another specimen of the wellknown Late Byzantine censers of the “katzion” type originating from Bulgaria. The find that is the subject of this publication has no recorded archaeological provenance, but the author believes that the existence of sufficiently accurate parallels allows it to be dated to the 13th – 14th c. period.
