Abstract

This paper presents preliminary results of investigation of a rock art site revealed by the authors during an expedition to Cappadocia in 2017. In this article, we provide general information about the revealed rock art site, a selective description of some petroglyphs, and proposals for their dating and attribution. The obtained results may be helpful for a comprehensive understanding of other rock art sites in Turkey. A detailed study is ongoing and may attract a panel of experts in various fields to describe all the petroglyphs and to establish their precise attribution.
