Abstract
It’s that time of the year again when the field season is over and everybody is back in their office or lab, getting ready their reports, analyses, or lecture plans for the next year. As usual, the new volume of Studia Praehistorica is already available online Open Access, and in print just before festivities of the year’s end started. This issue will treat you with papers on a broad range of topics including re-examination of Neolithic to Bronze Age occupation at caves in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina; in-depth discussion of zooarchaeological results from a Late Neolithic site in the Maritsa River Valley; examination of new radiocarbon dates for the Chalcolithic and Bronze Age at a site in southeast Bulgaria; interdisciplinary analyses of a Yamnaya culture barrow grave in northeast Bulgaria; comprehensive study of personal ornaments from a Bronze Age cemetery in northeast Serbia; and re-kindling of the debate on human sacrifice in first-millennium BC Thrace. The lively review of an international conference that was just held ends the line. Enjoy reading.
